Discussed with Rob - still unclear why exactly we're getting this error. This needs further investigation but is not indicative of an error with the mcp stdio command so it should not block the prerelease. Looking at line 79-90 in internal/mcp/cmd.go - it's confusing how we're not returning an error from wait all the time.
