The issue is titular so here I'll provide the evidence instead :D
The solution is to release new version for npm module @superset-ui/chart-controls to support newly upgraded React 17

Oh, interesting. I'll try to publish that.
I think @msyavuz and @geido are looking at making the jump to 18. We can publish all of these modules then, too.
